What each casino publishes
Pickering Casino Resort, the casino in Pickering, has 22 accessible rooms among its 275 hotel rooms. Its Accessible King Room has a 34-inch doorway and a roll-in shower with a bath bench and grab bars. The Arena sells accessible seats on Ticketmaster, and the wheelchair-accessible Casino Shuttle leaves from the casino entrance.
Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto offers accessible rooms and suites, among them the Racetrack Accessible King and the Accessible Corner Suites. The accessible rooms are wheelchair accessible, with a roll-in shower 60 inches wide, a fixed shower seat, grab bars and a raised toilet seat. At The Theatre, accessible seats are sold on Ticketmaster, and their location may vary by show.
At Great Blue Heron, all property entrances remain open and fully accessible, as checked on October 8, 2026. Its King Accessible room and King Suite both have an accessible bathroom with roll-in showers.
Casino Ajax and Elements Casino Mohawk publish no accessibility details of their own, as checked on October 8, 2026. What applies to them is the operator's accessibility policy, which covers all five casinos under the AODA. Great Canadian Entertainment runs all five.
Getting there step-free
The operator's Casino Shuttle runs only to Toronto and Pickering. It is wheelchair accessible, and service animals are welcome on board. Riders must be 19+ with valid government-issued photo ID.
TTC bus 37A runs all day, every day from Islington Station on Line 2 to Woodbine Racetrack Loop (Main Entrance). The TTC says its whole bus and streetcar fleet, and all routes, are wheelchair and scooter friendly. In Durham, route 917 stops on Bayly Street at Church, the nearest scheduled stops to Pickering Casino Resort. PULSE 900 and overnight route N1 stop on Kingston Road at Alexanders Crossing, near Casino Ajax. DRT says its scheduled buses meet AODA requirements: low floors, a kneeling feature, a ramp for mobility aids and two mobility aid spaces.
No scheduled public transit runs to Elements Casino Mohawk or Great Blue Heron. DRT On Demand operates in rural Durham, 6:00 to 24:00 on weekdays and 7:00 to 21:00 on weekends. DRT's contracted vehicles include sedans and accessible vans, and DRT can confirm whether On Demand covers an address.

Questions to ask before going
Some details are not published by any of the five casinos. None gives a count of accessible parking spaces. Toronto and Great Blue Heron do not say how many accessible rooms they have. Four of the five do not publish whether their entrances are step-free.
A labour disruption is affecting Toronto, Pickering and Ajax, as checked on October 8, 2026. At Pickering, hotel luggage services and housekeeping for occupied rooms are temporarily unavailable. Guests call the Front Desk for garbage removal, fresh towels or amenity replenishment. At Toronto, access to some property entrances may be affected, and the operator asks guests to review its resort entrance map first.
To ask, call Pickering Casino Resort at 289-539-0552, Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto at 416-675-1101 or Great Blue Heron at 905-985-4888. Casino Ajax answers at 1-866-445-3939, and Elements Casino Mohawk at 905-854-4053 or toll free 1-800-732-2230.
Online casino play in Ontario
Ontario's regulated online gambling market opened on April 4, 2022. iGaming Ontario conducts and manages it, and the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) regulates it. The list of regulated online gambling sites is published by iGaming Ontario at igamingontario.ca. A site that is not on the list is not part of Ontario's regulated market. OLG.ca is the online site of the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, the provincial agency.
Players must be 19 or older and physically located in Ontario. This site's home page carries paid links to one online casino partner, each marked Ad. The site earns a commission, and the partner can change. Check any gambling site, including that partner, against the iGaming Ontario list.
Help with gambling

- OLG's My PlayBreak lets a person self-exclude from Ontario casinos for 3 or 6 months or 1 to 5 years through 1-800-387-0098, with no early cancellation.
- BetGuard at betguard.ca, run by iGaming Ontario, lets a person exclude themselves from all regulated Ontario gambling sites, including OLG.ca, but does not cover land-based casinos.

Questions
Can I bring a service animal into the casinos?
Yes, under the operator's policy a guide dog or service animal may enter areas open to the public, unless another law excludes it. If staff cannot easily identify the animal, they may ask for documentation from a regulated health professional. They may not ask about the person's disability.
Which casino hotels have roll-in showers?
All three casino hotels do. Pickering's Accessible King Room has a roll-in shower with a bath bench and grab bars, and Toronto's accessible rooms have one 60 inches wide. At Great Blue Heron, the King Accessible room and King Suite both have roll-in showers.
Is the casino shuttle wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the operator's Casino Shuttle is wheelchair accessible and service animals are welcome on board. It runs only to Toronto and Pickering, and riders must be 19+ with valid government-issued photo ID.
Can a support person come with me?
Yes, under the operator's policy a support person may accompany a customer with a disability into all premises, subject to applicable age restrictions. Entry to all five casinos is 19+ with a valid, original government-issued photo ID plus a secondary photo ID. Customers are welcome to use their own personal assistive devices.
What if a venue publishes nothing about access?
Call the venue and ask. Casino Ajax and Elements Casino Mohawk publish no accessibility details of their own, so their cards give the phone number to call.
